We are glad to announce that Erasmus Intensive Programme IP SimClip 2014: Simulation in Clinical Practice: Virtual Medicine will be carried out between June 22nd and July 5th 2014 at Faculty of Medicine, University of Maribor. We will be hosting professors and students from five foreign partner institutions:
- Wroclaw Medical University, Poland,
- Rijeka School of Medicine, Croatia,
- Faculty of Medicine, Uppsala University, Sweden
- Medical School, University of Pecs, Hungary
- School of Medicine, University of Split, Croatia
We have prepared a dynamic programme that will be delivered by our professors, students, and supporting staff in cooperation with the University Medical Centre Maribor. Intensive training on a wide range of simulators will be provided and different emergency medicine topics (ultrasound in emergency medicine, airway management, advanced cardiac life support, acute coronary syndrome etc.) will be covered. Participants will also be able to choose between workshops from different medical specialities (e.g. endoscopic emergencies, obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmology etc.). Interesting social events and trips will be organized on weeknights and during weekends. We look forward to welcoming you in Maribor again!
